Is Iter free?
Yes. Iter is free to download on the App Store and Google Play, and everything essential is free. There is an optional subscription, Iter Pro, with advanced stats and other extras.
What is effective time?
It's the time you really spend in your session: time in other apps doesn't count. When you finish you see your effectiveness, the share of the session that was real study.
What is a jam?
A live study room. Public jams are in libraries: when you are there, you can see who else is studying and chat in the room. Private jams open with a code a friend shares with you.
Which languages is it in?
Spanish, English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. The app follows your phone's language.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Your data → Delete account. You have 30 days to change your mind, and you can also do it from your browser.
How do I contact you?
Write to legal@iterapp.io. We usually reply within 2 to 3 working days.
What happens if the screen turns off while I study?
If you let the screen turn off by itself, time keeps counting: a phone face down on the desk means studying. What does not count is time spent in other apps.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The timer works without internet and the session is saved on your phone; as soon as the connection is back, it is sent and added to your stats.
How does the ranking work?
It ranks effective hours for the week (from Monday), the month or the year. You can compare yourself with the people you follow, with the whole community or with each of your groups.
Can my account be private?
Yes. With a private account only the people you accept as followers can see you, and you can block anyone at any time.
What does Iter Pro include?
Iter Pro is an optional subscription: advanced stats, creating private jams, seeing who has visited your profile and a syllabus of up to four levels, with no ads. You subscribe and cancel through the App Store or Google Play.
How do I report content or a person?
With the «···» menu on any post, comment, profile, chat or room. We review every report within 24 hours.
Who can see my sessions?
The ones you post can be seen by whoever can see your profile; the ones you save as private are only visible to you, although they count the same in your stats.
